Just a quick update:

After our committee meeting, we've decided to hold a smaller Gala event later this year.  We are still assessing the damage caused by the flood to our equipment but know that a large proportion of it will have to be replaced.

Following consultation with Lottery Officials, the drawing of the Gala Raffle has been deferred until the next Gala event, so please keep your tickets if you're already bought some. In the meantime we will continue to sell Raffle Tickets to help raise funds for forthcoming events.

We will try and keep everyone informed via posters and our website with regular news updates. We currently have a selection of pictures of the floods but if anyone has photos or stories please contact us and we'll put a selection on the website.

On a drier, brighter note, Gala Sports' Night was very successful and enjoyed by all. There were nearly 90 runners in the Chase, a grueling hill run, and the results are on the website. Photographs will follow shortly...
